02.16.08 :: Dave's new abode resides in Flagstaff, AZ and he's very excited for the warm welcome that he has received from everyone in the community. We look forward to sharing tunes with as many of you as possible. Dave, Peter, and Thom are reuniting for two special shows in mid-Feb in Flagstaff and Tucson. With the guys now spread between Washington state and AZ, these gigs are not to be missed. ![]() :: :: :: 10.01.07 :: The fall tour has begun and Dave will be blogging his way across the country. :: :: :: 09.15.07 :: Dave, Peter, and Thom are about to hit the road for a fall tour which will take them from Seattle, through the south, and up the eastcoast. The guys are excited to be venturing into new territory and spread their music to new sets of ears. As a limited, tour only release, Badger Creek Productions is releasing a limited run of the live recording from Dave and Peter's set at Noe Valley Ministry in San Francisco from August '07. ![]() Live At Noe Valley will be availble at shows and also via Pool or Pond mailorder. Tour dates below. Please help spread the word. Thanks for you continued support. 09.15.07 :: Dave and Peter performed an amazing show at Noe Valley Ministry in San Francisco back in August. The guys were opening for The Swell Season (the stars and musicians of the movie Once). It was an evening that they will never forget and will be released as a limited CDR release, sold on Dave's upcoming tour. A few pictures are below. :: :: :: ![]() ![]() ![]() :: :: :: 07.27.07 :: Dave is very excited to be opening for The Swell Season in San Francisco on Saturday, August 4th. The Swell Season is Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova, who are the stars and musicians in the current hit movie, Once. The show will take place at the Noe Valley Ministry, which is a very intimate venue, and should make for a magical night of music. If you have yet to purchase a ticket, the concert is sold out, but we'll be sure to post an review after the show. Dave, Peter, & Thom will be hitting the road again this fall, beginning in late September. Check Dave's Myspace for the latest updates. ![]() :: :: :: 05.02.07 :: Happy May! Dave, Thom, and Peter had a great spring tour from Arizona up the westcoast. Thanks to all of the musicians the guys played with and everyone that came out to the shows. An extra special thanks goes out to those that purchased cds or put your email on the mailing list (which you can also join above), both of which really help touring musicians with gas money and spread the word about future tours and releases. Thom has returned to Arizona and Peter and Dave will spend the summer tracking coastal birds on Olympic Peninsula, WA. Work, rest, and some some casual songwriting are the main tasks at hand for the next few months, but if we're lucky, the trio will reunite this fall for their next tour. Dave and Thom will be performing in Seattle on Thursday, May 10 at Conor Byrne's (Ballard). It would be great if you're able to attend this show and help spread the word. Badger Creek Productions, Dave and Thom's label, has just released their fourth release, Lisa Harmon's Breathe Out cdr. Lisa added harmony vocals to both of Dave's albums and her four song debut is quite a treat. :: :: :: 03.30.07 :: Dave's second album, Where The Sea Settles Down is now available! ![]() Dave is heading out on a AZ to WA tour, beginning April 5 in Flagstaff! He will be joined by Thomas Lord (entire tour) and Peter Horne (Denver to Bellingham). Tour dates below. Thanks! :: :: :: 02.10.07 :: Dave has posted several new songs on his Myspace page. :: :: :: 02.05.07 :: Dave has finished recording and mixing his second album and is gearing up for a spring tour from Arizona to Washington. The new album should be available by early April, just in time for tour, and we'll hopefully have some early mp3s in a couple of weeks. The first round of tour dates is posted below. From the rough tracks we've heard from the island sessions, this second album is going to be a very, very good listen. Check back soon. WooHoo! :: :: :: 10.13.06 :: Dave made is radio debut on KPIG's Sunday morning live-in-studio show, Please Stand By, on October 1. He peformed three songs and talked about tracking condors in northern Arizona. Sleepy John and team were great hosts and we were thrilled with the positive feedback that everyone sent in about Dave's songs. Thanks! Watch this space for free mp3s of Dave's KPIG performance. Dave is currently on tour in Arizona on his way to Texas. ![]() :: :: :: 09.16.06 :: The fall tour is about to begin and we couldn't be more excited to have Dave heading down the coast and into AZ and TX to share his music with new folks. Please go see a show, spread the word, and help pitch in for gas money if Dave heads to your neighborhood. Tour dates are listed below. On Sunday, October 1 Dave will be featured on KPIG's Sunday morning live in-studio radio show, Please Stand By. Dave will begin the show by performing several of his songs in the "hot seat" and then will be back later in the show to discuss listenter feedback (email, phone) about his tunes. If you live in the Santa Cruz (94.9FM) or San Francisco (1510AM) areas, please tune in right at 10AM and send some feedback. If you're anywhere else in the world, please visit KPIG for info on how to get a 10 day free trial to listen online. Peter Tork (The Monkees) will be the featured guest after Dave. :: :: :: 07.23.06 :: Dave is maintaining a busy schedule this summer with work through the San Juan Islands and shows around the northwest. The five night run at the Grand Canyon's Bright Angel Lodge during the last week of June was a success. Many thanks to those who ventured out to the area to see Dave and hello to any who took the time to listen and discover Dave while on vacation. A westcoast fall tour is currently in the planning stages and Dave should be heading south from San Juan Island to Arizona in late September / early October. We're still filling holes in the schedule, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any venue or band suggestions for your area. :: :: :: 06.05.06 :: Select tracks from Dave's April 22, 2006 show at Lees Ferry Lodge, Vermilion Cliffs are now available for streaming and download at archive.org. This was Dave's going away show before heading north to San Juan and it is definitely a lively set. D. McGraw, 4/22/06, Lees Ferry Lodge, Vermilion Cliffs, AZ :: :: :: 03.16.06 :: Dave has just learned that he will be heading back to San Juan Island, WA this summer for work. He'll be busy with the birds for the first part of the summer, but should be able to work in some shows through the islands and over in Bellingham through July and August. Dave will be returning to Arizona between June 27 - July 1 for five nights of shows at the Grand Canyon Village. This is an amazing gig that we are all very excited about. If you've never been to the Grand Canyon, this could be the perfect time to take a break from work and get in touch with nature while checking out a couple (or all) of Dave's sets in the lodge.
